Located in the former Bethlehem Steel machine shop, one of oldest buildings on Hoboken's waterfront with artifacts of Hoboken history. Current exhibit honoring 100th anniversary of birth of Hoboken native Frank Sinatra featuring interactive displays & videos, period-appropriate listening stations, & photos.

Former fire station with 1932 Ahrens Fox fire engine and a treasure trove of fire gear and memorabilia about Hoboken's bravest in battling its fiercest fires. Building & five more Hoboken firehouses on National Register of Historic Places.
Hoboken Walking Tour Select Highlights: 2 to 3 hour walking tour
A. Erie Lackawanna Railroad and Ferry Terminal, foot of Hudson Place. Built 1907 by the Delaware Lackawanna & Western Railroad over water on steel and concrete foundation serving 14 rail lines and 6 ferry slips for passengers.
B. Hoboken Land & Improvement Company, 1 Newark Street, 1889. Housed offices of the Steven's family real estate holding corporation.
C. Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington Street, 1883. Square block, donated by Colonel John Stevens, originally a public marketplace.
D. Carlo’s Bake Shop – 95 Washington Street. Open daily 7 am to 9 pm. Featured in the TLC hit show Cake Boss and The Next Great Baker.
E. Assembly of Exempt Firemen, 213 Bloomfield Street, Circa 1864. One of two architecturally intact Hoboken firehouses, the other at 212 Park Ave. The building serves as firefighter's union hall and museum of Hoboken Fire Dept.
F. Jefferson Trust Company, 313-15 First Street, 1912. Revival. Impressive granite and brick building of monumental scale with richly detailed plaster interior practically unaltered, restored for current adaptive reuse.
G. Keuffel & Esser Manufacturing Complex, Third Street at Grand and Adams Street, 1906. Where Hoboken residents Keuffel and Esser manufactured items, including slide rules, for engineering and drafting professions, converted in 1975 to housing.
H. Stevens Park, bordered by Fourth, Fifth, and Hudson Streets. On land given to city by Colonel John Stevens in 1804 with 1884 Civil war statue.
I. Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Hudson and Fourth Streets. Built in 1928. Interiors were shot here for On The Waterfront.
J. Sinatra Drive, riverfront walkway along sites of the old Hoboken piers, with recreational walkways and excellent views of Manhattan. At the base of Castle Point is Sybil's Cave, oldest manmade structure in Hoboken created in 1832 by the Stevens Family (now restored), was a site containing a natural spring. Also nearby is Pier A Park at the soiuth end and Elysian Field Park at the north end.
K. Maxwell House Coffee Plant, Hudson Street at Eleventh Street, 1939. Elysian Field where General Foods Corp. built their coffee processing plant is acknowledged as 1846 site of first organized baseball game. The plant closed in 1992 and was demolished. Maxwell Place condominiums now occupy the site.
L. The Machine Shop 1200-1400 Hudson Street. Oldest building on the Hoboken waterfront, built in 1891, used by Bethlehem Steel Shipyard, closed in 1984 & re-developed to luxury apartments & shops. and the Hoboken Historical Museum.
M. Hoboken Historical Museum 1301 Hudson Street. In The Machine Shop.
N. Standard Brands/Lipton Tea Building, Fifteenth and Washington Streets. The building was recently converted to luxury rental apartments and renamed the Hudson Tea Building.
