Special Class Matching Challenge

We are pleased to announce that an anonymous – and very generous – classmate has decided to match every commitment the Class of 1965 makes to any fund at Stevens. With this extraordinary matching opportunity, your Reunion Committee is even more confident that the Class of 1965’s 50th Reunion gift can exceed $1 million!

Challenge Criteria

FY15 commitments between $1 and $999 will be matched 1:1
FY15 commitments between $1,000 and $25,000 will be matched 2:1

Additional items to note:

Commitments to any fund at Stevens will be matched
Commitments may be made in the form of outright gifts or 2 to 5 year pledges
For gifts greater than $25,000, the first $25,000 will be matched 2:1
The match will not exceed $400,000
Corporate matching gifts will NOT be matched
Gifts of Stock matched at appreciated value
Charitable Gift Annuities will be matched equal to the percent residuum calculated at time of gift
Documented bequests will NOT be matched
