Tuesday

Today I have my first test in my Structural Analysis class. This semester I am taking mostly civil engineering classes and it been really fun, but also scary. Professor Billah is an amazing professor and has prepared us for this test, but I still have first test jitters and have been studying all weekend. Hopefully I can do well on this test and set the bar high for the rest of the semester!

Wednesday

On my last co-op, I had the opportunity to learn about construction working for the Walsh Group. I grew very close to my co-workers and decided to return for my next co-op this summer. Their recruiter, Jackie, contacted me to attend their informational session to talk about my experience. It was very rewarding talking to my peers and telling them how I loved the opportunities the Walsh Group has given me. After, Jackie and I went out to eat to catch up and talk about the different opportunities the company has. I am so grateful for the co-op program at Stevens because it has given me many opportunities to excel and get job experiences in the civil engineering industry.

Thursday

I am part of the Stevens Technical Enrichment Program (STEP) party committee, and today we met for our first meeting. Each year we plan a party to celebrate and send off the seniors. It is the best way to get everyone together for a night of fun before the school year ends. I love STEP because it was the first family I had at Stevens, and I am so happy to help host this year’s party.

Saturday

Today I found out that I will be a Big to one of the Alpha Phi Omega Nu Class new members! I cannot wait to be a great big and mentor to my little! I have been waiting for this moment since I pledged Alpha Phi Omega in spring 2017 Lambda Class, and finally I get to continue my family lineage.

Sunday

Today is Alpha Phi Omega’s weekly meeting and we are voting in our last few minor board positions. I love meetings because I get to see all my brothers and bond for hours. Even though our meetings end pretty late at night, it’s worth it because I share this valuable time with my brothers.
