IEEE Milestone Dedication Ceremony
Join us for the IEEE Milestone Dedication Ceremony celebrating the Neutrodyne Circuit, invented in 1922 by Professor Louis Alan Hazeltine on the Stevens Institute of Technology campus. The Neutrodyne Circuit revolutionized radio tuning and eliminated disruptive squeals from parasitic oscillation in radio receivers and amplifiers.
Established in 1983, the IEEE Electrical Engineering Milestones program honors significant achievements in electrical and electronics engineering. A new milestone plaque will be unveiled during the ceremony and proudly displayed on campus.
