2022 Senior Class Giving Page

An open letter to our classmates,

In Greek tradition, the word philanthropy grows from the words “philos” meaning “love” and “anthropos” meaning “man” or “humanity.” Literally, in the original Greek meaning, the word philanthropy is the “love of humanity.”

We ask you today to join us in making your Senior Class Gift to an area on campus that you love. From the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Programs Fund, your sports team, the Student Mental Health Programs Fund, your fraternity or sorority scholarship, to the Vibrant Campus Fund – whichever you choose will have a lasting impact on the lives of current and future Ducks for years to come.

Why should you give?

•    To pay it forward to our future Ducks. Nearly every student has benefitted from the generosity of others who went before them. Pay it forward to current and future Stevens students.
•    To show your Stevens pride. Gifts influence Stevens’ ranking. High participation rates help Stevens remain competitive and increase the value of your degree.
•    To leave a legacy. Your support of the Senior Class Gift makes a major impact on the future of Stevens. You can make a positive impact on the experience of your fellow students before you even graduate.
Each year Stevens seniors participate in the tradition of rallying behind each other in making a gift in support of their Senior Class Gift. We hope you will join our classmates today in supporting our class gift!

Together, we can make an impact. Together, we can leave a legacy of generosity just as the many senior classes before us did!

Sincerely,
The Senior Week Committee

FAQ

What is Senior Class Gift?
Senior Class Gift is an opportunity for seniors to reflect on their time at Stevens and pay it forward.

Why should I give?

By making a gift, you are investing in the students and future of Stevens. Donor support is essential for everything from scholarships to classroom equipment to student organizations to testing accommodations for students with disabilities. Many opportunities and experiences at Stevens are possible because of generous donors.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes! Anyone interested in making a pledge can promise to give a predetermined amount before the end of their senior year or once they become an alumni.

Where can I designate my gift?

Any area on campus that is important to you, the possibilities are endless. If you need help deciding on an area, ask us for help, we will be happy to guide you in the right direction!

What if I still have questions?

Please reach out to someone on the Senior Week Committee at seniorweek@stevens.edu or our campus advisor, Thomas Gaudet in the Office of Alumni Engagement, at tgaudet@stevens.edu.
