About

Our distinguished past is replete with technological ‘firsts’ and other significant accomplishments by the Stevens family, our alumni and the organizations to which they belonged or led. The contributions of our founding family and those faculty, students and alumni of this great university on the banks of the Hudson River have been felt in all areas of society.

Our present day is filled will accolades and promise. A Stevens education is in demand and the contributions to society from Castle Point abound in knowledge, innovation and thought leadership. Students and faculty are pushing boundaries every day, with the support of the community bolstered by our 146-year reputation.

Our future is ours to create, as our strategic plan boldly states. Our history, community, and ambition are critical to reaching our future milestones. All of these provide inspiration, energy and support. That is the Power of Us.

Hall of Achievement

To honor our rich heritage and tradition of excellence, the first Achievement Award was presented in 2015 to automotive pioneer and Stevens alumnus, Charles Stewart Mott 1897. This award is the highest honor Stevens can bestow and recognizes alumni, faculty and staff for extraordinary professional accomplishment and impact. Stevens will formally unveil our Hall of Achievement, where five inductees will be honored. These inductees will be recognized for accomplishments that have shaped their respective fields and enhanced the Stevens legacy.

Innovation Festival

Stevens has reached a new level of excellence and the outstanding quality of a Stevens education continues to grow. Collaborations between our students and faculty are advancing the frontiers of science and they are leveraging technology to confront global challenges. Witness this ingenuity firsthand as more than twenty teams and individuals showcase their work at the Innovation Festival. With the Hudson River and Manhattan as the back drop, mingle with students and faculty and learn more about their leading edge research and inventions.
